Bondi Beach

We visited the world famous Bondi beach yesterday. It is not very far from the city centre and it it takes around half an hour by bus. The ticket costs 4.10 AUD each way. We decided to spenda couple of hours on the beach and later in the afternoon walk down along the coast from Bondi to Coogee.
The walk itself is well worth doing it ans it runs just along the edges of the cliffs and offers magnificent views of the coastline. The walk itself is 5,5km long and takes around 2-2,5hrs depending on how many stops are made. It is a journey through parks, beaches, cliffs, bays and rock pools. All beaches have picnic shelters, electric barbeques etc. In Australia it is not allowed to consume alcohol in public, that includes parks and beaches as well. For example it was not allowed to smoke on Bondi beach. Certain beaches along the way seemed to be favourites with the surfers due to high waves. We got a few pics of the crazy waves hitting the rocks. Of course picture doesn't give the emotion!

We have started considering looking at farms to find work in but that is not definite yet as I still hope to get a job around Sydney for a few months. However, if I ever needed a second year visa it would be good to have the 88 days of compulsory farm work done.
